Home Style Mutton Curry Recipe – How to make home style mutton curry

Ingredients to make Home Style Mutton Curry.
500 gms mutton
250 gms onions finely sliced
2 large tomatoes finely Chopped
Fresh coriander leaves
Green Cardamom
Black Cardamom
Black Peppercon
Coriander seeds
Fennel Seeds
Turmeric powder
Kashmiri red chilly powder
Coriander powder
Salt as per taste
Fresh Ginger garlic paste
Refined oil

Method to make home style Mutton Curry.
1- Wash the mutton well and marinate for at least 1 hour with Salt , 2 tsp ginger garlic paste and 1 tsp lemon juice.
2- Heat a pan and add 2 tsp salt , Add 2 tsp coriander seeds 3-4 black cardamom , 2-3 green cardamom , 5-6 clove , 2 tsp fennel seeds , 2 cinamon stick and roast it well until the aroma comes out. Once done grind it fine and your meat masala is ready
3- Heat a pressure cooker with a heavy base and add 4 tsp oil and 3 tsp ghee.
4- Add 2 tsp black pepper con , 3-4 cloves, 1-2 green cardamom , 2-3 black cardamom. Cook it for 30 seconds and then ads finely slices onions. Cook onion until light brown.
5- Add 3 tsp fresh ginger garlic paste and mix it well. Please cook ginger garlic paste until raw smell goes off.
6- Add finely chopped tomatoes and add 1 tsp salt. Mix it well and let it cook until the tomatoes become soft and mushy.
7- Add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder , 3 tsp kashmiri chilly powder, 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp coriander powder , 2 tsp fresh meat masala and 1 tsp ghee. Mix it all well. Add 1/2 cup water and cover with a lid and cook the masalas until oil is released.
8- Once the masala is cooked , add the matinated mutton and roast the mutton well with all the masala on a high flame for 10 minutes.
9- Add 2 cups boiling water and give a gentle mix. Cover with a lid and let it simmer on a low flame for 10 minutes.
10- Add 2 tsp oil and 2 tsp meat masala and 1 cup water. Cover with a lid and let it simmer for 25 minutes. Keep stirring gently in between.
10 – Add 1/2 cup water and pressure cook the mutton for 6 whistles on a low flame.
11- Let cooker depressurize naturally and further cook it with a lid on a low flame for another 10 minutes to thicken the gravy.
12 – Please check if the mutton is cooked well and becomes nice and tender.
13 – Garnish with a handfull of fresh coriander leaves and serve it hot with rice or bread of your choice.
