Chilli Paneer Recipe – How to make Chilli paneer

Chilli Paneer is a popular Indo-Chinese dish where cubes of fried crispy paneer are tossed in a spicy sauce made with soy sauce, vinegar, Chilli sauce!

Ingredients to Make Chilly Paneer
1 Capsicum
1 Onion
Spring Onions finely chopped.
10 garlic cloves finely chopped
Ginger finely sliced
Onions Cubed, Layers separated
Dark Soy sauce 2 tsp
Tomato Ketchup 2 tsp
Red chilly paste 2 tsp ( If you dont have red chilly paste , You can make it by adding some kashmiri chilly powder in 2 tsp oil and mix it nicely)
Corn Flour
Green Chillies
Salt as per taste

Method to Make Chilly Paneer
1- Cut the Paneer into cubes.
2- Add 2 tsp Corn flour , pinch of red chilly powder , salt , black pepper powder and 1 tsp water on paneer.
3- Mix it gently, ensure paneer is nicely coated with Corn flour.
4- Take a non stick pan and 2 tsp oil.
5- Cook the paneer from each side, until brown. Once done , please take it out on a plate.
6- In the same pan add some oil and keep the flame high.
7- Once the oil is hot add garlic, Ginger and Green chillies, and cook it on a high flame for 30 seconds.
8- Add chopped Onions and Capsicum, cook it on a high flame for 1 minute.
9- Add red chilly paste , Soy Sauce , tomato Ketchup , Salt and Sugar. Mix it all well.
10- Add water as required and bring to a boil.
11- Add the paneer cubes and mix. Let it cook on a high flame for 2-3 mins. Please gently stir in between.
12 – Take 2 tsp corn flour in a bowl and add 5 tsp water and make a nice slurry , and add it in the paneer sauce.
13- Mix it gently and cook until sauce thickens.
14- Garnish it with some spring onions.
15- Serve it hot with Rice of your choice.
